Creating and writing unique strap-lines and slogans for a variety of sources ~ such as a bespoke organic hand cream brand and an Icelandic craft beer as well as a medical website for GI patients.

In-house volunteer Writer for Hat Fair – (2013 – 2016)

Writing articles and audience feedback for the Hat Fair website.

Staff Nurse Band 5 – (2018 -Present)

Duties within the Acute Medical Unit, respiratory ward and A&E at The Countess of Chester Hospital, (previously at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital). Supporting patients during their emergency admission or ward stay and endeavouring to safely discharge patients to live as independently as they can in the community. Also, taking care of outlying acute Gastro and surgical patients and Covid patients during the coronavirus pandemic.

Seren holds a Biomedical Science degree from Cardiff University. She has worked in various roles for The Orangery, Bumble, and Friends of the Earth. She currently works for Liberty Insurance, and previously Marsh, as well as acting creative assistant here at Word Barn.
